Happy Birthday K.P.

Last Tues. (March 1st) was my older sister, Katie's birthday. In celebration of her turning the big 2-7, I decided to throw a little surprise party this weekend with help from my parents who drove down from Mass. for the weekend. I spent much of last week creating decorations, such as tissue paper pom-pom balls and a "Happy Birthday" banner, and collecting as much green & white decor as I could find in honor of the approaching holiday and Katie's favorite basketball team, the Celtics. When Katie arrived with my brother-in-law at my place on Saturday night, she never expected to find a decorated house, lots of food, and her best friend Eli and her husband there waiting for her. The party was a big success and we all had a great night! Happy Birthday Katie Powell :)
