Laura's Bridal Shower Tea

Yesterday was my lovely friend Laura's Bridal Shower (see, I told you I had a shower coming up soon!). The theme was an afternoon tea and I was fortunate enough to be able to provide some assistance with the planning and decorating for this fabulous affair. Over the past few weeks I scoured thrift stores for tea pots, tea cups & saucers, and doilies and spent a lot of time in my kitchen making tea cup candles. My other friend, Kristen also helped by making earl gray cupcakes, lavender and lemon bread, scones and more - she is seriously a fabulous cook and future professional cupcake maker! All-in-all it was a wonderful celebration. Can't wait for the Big Day!!!
